REVIEW - Bronco Billy - Steakhouse

Postby annunaki on Tue Mar 02, 2010 12:39 am

Y'all, this place is awesome! Free all you can eat salad bar, free all you can drink, er, drink bar, including a killer self serve cappuccino maker.

My wife and I were out shopping at the Off House on 16 and 20 toward Shinjuku today. We got a bit hungry, and, because it was our anniversary, we decided to stop in and eat at a steakhouse just down the road called Bronco Billy. Let me tell you...fantastic food at fantastic prices. They have the best steaks at the most reasonable prices we've seen, bar none! On top of that, they take VISA! Where else can you eat off base and not have to take cash with you?

The staff was wonderful, the place is spotless clean and it feels a bit like home. And the aroma...well, imagine seared steaks on a flame grill. Dudes and dudettes, try the Japanese steak sauce while you are at it.

Great place to have a "going away". It's not far down the road either.

Just go out the passenger gate or the supply gate. Take a left. Follow 16 until you get near 20. It's near the McDonald's and the Off House complex.

I've been to the one out the East gate twice, excellent both times. The salad bar is huge and they serve REAL, American steaks (as well as plenty of other stuff like chicken and the infamous hamburg)! My only complaint was no regular Pepsi, only Pepsi Zero and Pepsi Twist, on the drink bar. Other than that, def. A++!

Oh really? Pepsi zero eh!? I've eaten there several times and just never got the drink bar.

I always complain to the hospital dining facility to get Coke/Pepsi Zero/Nex instead of Diet Coke (that's nastiness in a bottle there). Ya, I work at the hospital and eat lunch there pretty much everyday.

I agree Bronco Billy's is great. My husband and I went there before with our neighbors. It was a lil higher priced then we thought it would be (a lil over 10,000 Yen for the 4 of us) but it was still well worth it. The food was good and our waitress spoke perfect english too! Just be careful about the different white colored sauces at the salad bar. My husband covered his entire salad in some type of sweet cream sauce because he thought it was ranch dressing lol.

Where is the one outside the East Gate? I know I've seen it, but I can't remember for the life of me. Thx.

It's on the road where the bullet train park and old Jusco are, like you're heading for Tama from the East gate. R out the gate, L at the light, hard R at the Jonathan's/5-way intersection. It's just before the old Jusco, on the right.
